Adipurush aims to have a strong beginning. According to the most recent advance booking figures, the Prabhas and Kriti Sanon-starring movie has sold more than 4.7 lakh seats for its weekend showings. Trade expert Taran Adarsh posted information on Adipurush’s advance ticket sales at theatres so far and anticipated a “box office tsunami loading.” On June 16, Adipurush will be released.
Regarding the Prabhas movie, Taran tweeted, “Adipurush advance booking status at national chains [PVR and INOX] update till Thursday, 11 am… Note: Hindi and Telugu versions… Total tickets sold for weekend 1 [PVR and INOX ]: 4,79,811. Note: Cinepolis ticket sales are awaited. BO (box office) Tsunami loading( with fire emojis).”
He posted additional details on the ticket breakup, “Friday…PVR 1,26,050, INOX 96,502, total 2,22,552. Saturday… PVR 83,596, INOX 55,438, total 1,39,034. Sunday… PVR 69,279, INOX 48,946, total 1,18,225.”
In addition to single-screen theatres and multiplexes in the north, Taran predicted that the movie would generate a “massive” amount at the box office in the south, particularly in Telangana and Andhra Pradesh, where Prabhas has a large fan base.
Inspired by the epic Ramayana, the movie is a mythical drama. Prabhas plays Raghava, and Kriti Sanon plays Janaki. Saif Ali Khan plays the antagonist Ravana in the film Adipurush. Along with Sonal Chauhan and Trupti Toradmal, other actors appearing in the movie include Devdatta Nage as Bajrang, Sunny Singh as Lakshmana and Vatsal Sheth as Meghanadha.
Bhushan Kumar is the producer, and Om Raut is the director of Adipurush. The film will be available in Malayalam, Tamil, Hindi, Telugu, and Kannada.
