Ayan Mukerji is reportedly directing the Hrithik Roshan and NTR Jr.-starring movie War 2, and Siddharth Anand is reportedly directing the Salman Khan and Shahrukh Khan-starring movie Tiger Vs. Pathaan.
After a long absence of 28 years, Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan’s Tiger Vs. Pathaan will reunite two of the biggest stars in one frame. After Karan Arjun, the pair has occasionally collaborated on cameo appearances for each other but never on a full-length film.
Trade Analyst Taran Adarsh tweeted, “BIGGG DEVELOPMENT… SALMAN KHAN – SHAH RUKH KHAN: SIDDHARTH ANAND TO DIRECT… #SalmanKhan and #ShahRukhKhan starrer #TigervsPathaan will be directed by #SiddharthAnand… It Starts Jan 2024… Produced by #AdityaChopra. #YRF”
After Ek Tha Tiger, Tiger Zinda Hai, War, Pathaan, Tiger 3, War 2, and Tiger vs Pathaan, this will be the sixth movie in the YRF spy universe. Production is expected to begin in January 2024.
A formal affirmation from the YRF or ensemble is yet awaited, though.
The release of Tiger 3 from the YRF Spy Universe is planned for Diwali. Maneesh Sharma directed, and Aditya Chopra produced the movie. Salman Khan, Katrina Kaif, and Emraan Hashmi appear in the movie.
The movie was extensively filmed in New Delhi, Mumbai, Turkey, Austria, and Russia. The movie is slated for release on November 10, 2023, also Diwali.
