As her mother, Sunanda underwent surgery, actor Shilpa Shetty wrote a heartfelt letter.
Shilpa took to her social media profile, shared a picture of her mother and the resident doctor, and wrote, “Seeing a parent undergo surgery is never easy for any child. But, if there’s anything I want to emulate from my mom it’s her guts and her fighting spirit. The last few days have been a roller coaster. But, my hero and my hero’s hero saved the day.”
“Thank you so much, Dr Rajeev Bhagwat, for taking such good care of Ma before, during, and after her surgery. A HUGE thank you with a grateful heart to the doctors and the staff at Nanavati for their relentless support and care. Please keep Ma in your prayers until she fully recovers, my dearest #InstaFam Prayers work miracles #grateful #blessed #positivity,” added Shilpa.
She also thanked the hospital’s medical personnel for providing her mother excellent care.
Shilpa co-starred with Shirley Setia and Abhimanyu Dasani in the action comedy “Nikamma” in the meantime.
The OTT debut of Rohit, “Indian Police Force,” also features Sidharth Malhotra and Vivek Oberoi in addition to Shilpa. The TV show will be available on Amazon Prime’s OTT service.
