At a meet-and-greet with fans scheduled at Mehboob Studio in Mumbai, Akshay Kumar broke the Guinness World Records record for the most self-portrait photos (selfies) shot in three minutes.
The celebrity who is well known for his record-breaking pranks and noteworthy accomplishments is currently the owner of the Guinness World Record for this extraordinary feat with 184 selfies.
On the Carnival Dream cruise ship on January 22, 2018, James Smith (USA) recorded the most self-portrait photos in three minutes with 168. Akshay Kumar has now surpassed that mark.
Before this, Dwayne Johnson, a global icon and Hollywood actor, held the record with 105 self-portrait photos (selfies) taken in three minutes at the London premiere of San Andreas in 2015.
Speaking of the Raj Mehta-directed film Selfiee, which Star Studios also produced, Dharma Productions, Magic Frames, Prithviraj Productions, Cape of Good Films, and Prithviraj Productions.
Akshay Kumar and Emraan Hashmi co-star in the 2019 Malayalam film Driving Licence, which stars Diana Penty and Nushratt Bharuccha in key roles.
The movie will debut in theatres on February 24, 2023.
