On Twitter, actress Kangana Ranaut announced that she would take a gap of one month before announcing the release date of her forthcoming movie Emergency. She claimed that when some movies, like Ganapath, featuring Tiger Shroff and Amitabh Bachchan, and Yaariyan 2, directed by Bhushan Kumar, fixed October 20 as their release date, she had come to this conclusion. She continued by saying that the same release date was also planned for her political drama.
In a tweet, Kangana stated, “When I was looking for a date for Emergency release, I saw this year’s movie calendar is pretty much free, probably because of setbacks Hindi industry is having, based on the post-production timelines I zeroed down on October 20, within a week T series owner Bhushan Kumar (cont).”
In the following tweet, she added, “Announced his film on October 20, entire October is free so is November, December and even September, but today Mr Amitabh Bachchan and Tiger Shroff announced their ambitious project on October 20, ha ha lagta hai panic meetings ho rahi hai Bollywood mafia gangs mein.”
Kangana added, “Now release date for Emergency I will announce only one month in advance with the trailer itself, jab Sara saal free hai toh clash ki zarurat kyu hai bhai?? Yeh buri halat hai industry ki phir bhi itni durbuddhi, kya khate ho yaar tum sab, itne self-destructive kaise ho?”
After it was released, Kangana tweeted about the teaser for Tiger Shroff’s much-anticipated film Ganapath. He collaborates with Kriti Sanon in it, along with Amitabh Bachchan. On October 20, it will be released in theatres and star Tiger in a dystopian world after a pandemic.
