Along with some great entertainment and good movies, Indian cinema has also made some senseless that their very mention makes us cringe. These films, in some way, cause us to reevaluate our faith in cinema. The following films made the list of the poor content in Indian cinema:
1- Himmatwala
One must be a real Himmatwala to complete this movie, a masterpiece by Sajid Khan. The movie is a remake of a film made 30 years ago. But, it is worse than the original. This movie revolves around a temple priest who commits suicide after being dishonoured by an evil landlord. Then his son returns to his native village on a mission of vengeance.
2- Ram Gopal Varma Ki Aag
When this official Sholay remake was unveiled, all hope was lost. Ram Gopal Varma used the protagonist from the first film, including his name.
The two bodyguards for a politician in this movie jeopardise their jobs when their boss is linked to a scandal. They leave Mumbai and work for a gangster, but the cops are after them.
3- Drona
This one is one of the poorest pieces of content ever produced in Indian cinema. In this film, a young man discovers that the time has come for him to assume the role of the newest warrior in a line of ancestors who have guarded a mysterious source of cosmic energy.
4- Jaani Dushman: Ek Anokhi Kahani
No one understood this, Anokhi Kahani. This movie had the worst CG setup, so they used Armaan Kohli as Neo, Terminator and a snake’s head. Additionally, it demonstrated Sonu Nigam’s acting skills and how a rape attempt may be justified.
5- Tees Maar Khan
This movie is as dull as it can be. People only went to see this movie because of Katrina Kaif’s ‘Sheila ki jawani’ number. Hats off to the audience who saw it ultimately.
6- Love Story 2008
With the help of his uncle, a man travels to the future to try and bring his girlfriend back to life. Horrible, isn’t it?
7- Rudraksha
A doctor travels from America to India to investigate a man with paranormal healing powers and uncovers the existence of a dark force that has the potential to transform humans into a new species. It is beyond human logic and ability to understand.
8- Rascals
This movie is about two rival con men who attempt to outdo each other to woo a wealthy woman. There are so many cons in the film that all sense will con your brain and leave.
9- Aap Mujhe Achche Lagne Lage
This movie revolves around a daughter of a wealthy criminal industrial tycoon who falls in love with a college boy. She swallows poison and is on the verge of passing out, but she survives after witnessing him brutally beating her brother and his supporters. It’s obvious why it failed so miserably!
10- Mission Istaanbul: Darr Ke Aagey Jeet Hai
The movie is all about a world-famous reporter who gets stuck in a terrorist organization pretending to be a news channel. You will not find any reason to watch this movie, we bet!!
