Balaji Motion Pictures is preparing for its upcoming film, The Sabarmati Report, produced by Vikir Films and starring Vikrant Massey, Raashii Khanna, and Ridhi Dogra. Aseem Arrora penned the story for it. Director Ranjan Chandel, who previously helmed the well-liked web series Grahan, is directing this movie. The film will debut on big screens on May 3, 2024.
The cast of The Sabarmati Report is intriguing, featuring actors like Vikrant Massey, who made a strong impression in the critically acclaimed movie 12th Fail, Raashii Khanna, who stole the show in Farzi, and Ridhi Dogra, who starred in two of the biggest movies of the previous year, Jawan and Tiger 3.
The film is inspired by real incidents that happened in the Sabarmati Express on the morning of February 27 2002, near the Godhra railway station in the Indian state of Gujarat, in The Sabarmati Report.
