The makers of the film Vikram Vedha have released the first look of Hrithik Roshan on his 48th birthday on Monday. He is playing the role of Vedha in the movie. The film also stars Saif Ali Khan as Vikram. It’s a Hindi remake of the Tamil film of the same name.
T-Series, the film’s production house, has shared the Hrithik’s first look on their official Twitter handle with the caption, “Here’s wishing Hrithik Roshan a very happy birthday! Delighted to present the first look of Vedha in #VikramVedha. Hitting the cinemas worldwide on 30th September 2022.”
The original Vikram Vedha was released in 2017, starring Vijay Sethupathi and R Madhavan in the lead role. The story is based on the Indian myth Vikram aur Betaal. The film featured Madhavan as Police officer Vikaram, and Vijay played Vedha, a gangster and drug dealer.
R Madhavan praised the first look of Hrithik from the film on Twitter. He reposted the photo Shared by Hrithik Roshan and wrote, “Now that’s a “Vedha” I do want to see…. Wow bro .. this is EPIC. Damnnnnn.”
Written and directed by Pushkar and Gayatri, who helmed the original film. Vikram Vedha is produced by Bhushan Kumar’s T-Series and Reliance Entertainment, in association with Friday Filmworks and S. Sashikanth’s YNOT Studios. The film also stars Radhika Apte in a pivotal role.
Vikram Vedha will hit the theatres worldwide on September 30, 2022.
