Actor Vijay Sethupathi and Taapsee Pannu have come together for an upcoming film Annabelle Sethupathi. The makers of the film revealed its first look on Thursday, August 26. Written and directed by Deepak Sundarrajan. The film will release directly on OTT on Disney+ Hotstar on September 17. It marks Taapsee’s first collaboration with Vijay Sethupathi.
Taapsee took to Twitter and shared the first look of the movie along with its release date. In the first look, Vijay appeared in a royal look in an off-white sherwani, and Taapsee has a more British look. The “Haseen Dillruba” star shared the first look with the caption, “Coz sometimes one life is not enough to see it all. #AnnabelleSethupathy Streaming in Tamil, Telugu, Hindi, Kannada and Malayalam from September 17 only on @DisneyPlusHS”.
Produced by Sudhan Sundaram and G Jayaram. The movie is reportedly a horror-comedy and will release in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam and Kannada.
On the work front, Vijay Sethupathi has a series of releases lined up along with the Tamil culinary reality Television show – MasterChef Tamil, hosted by him.
Meanwhile, Taapsee also recently announced that her production banner, Outsider Films, would be signing its first production feature film Blurr. She was last seen in her Hindi Thriller Haseen Dilruba alongside Vikrant Massey and Harshvardhan Rane.
