Vijay Deverakonda Starrer Liger’s Glimpse Shows The Journey From Slumdog TO MMA Fighter

Vijay Deverakonda starrer upcoming film Liger’s first glimpse was released on Friday. On New Year’s eve, the film’s makers shared the first glimpse video on social media, which is electrifying. The video shows a journey of slum from Mumbai streets to becoming a champion in MMA (Mixed Martial Arts). The film will hit the theatres on August 25, 2022.

Film’s production house, Dharma production, shared the first glimpse of Liger on their official Twitter handle. They captioned it, “The boy from the streets of India is here to entertain the entire nation. Presenting the adrenaline pumping – #LigerFirstGlimpse! #VaatLagaDenge #LIGER.”

Liger is a sports drama film with Vijay as the lead actor. The first glimpse teaser is out and has created an immense impact on the audience, leading to more expectations from the film. The teaser opens with an MMA referee introducing the actor as a boy from India – slumdog of the streets of Mumbai- The Chai Waala – LIGER.

Vijay is seen in a different persona doing some fantastic action sequences on the streets of Mumbai and then in the MMA wrestling league. The teaser is self-explanatory, showing the journey of an underdog turning a wrestling champion. Everyone is eagerly waiting for the trailer of Liger now, as the teaser has unleashed the look of the actor Vijay and has already created a strong buzz among his fans.

Directed by Puri Jagannadh and jointly produced by Puri Jagannadh, Charmme Kaur and Karan Johar. Liger marks Vijay Deverakonda’s Hindi debut while Ananya Panday plays the female lead. Liger also stars Ramya Krishnan and Ronit Roy in pivotal roles. Boxing legend Mike Tyson is also playing a key role in the movie.

Liger will release in theatres globally on August 25, 2022, in five languages.
