Applause Entertainment and Ellipsid Entertainment came together to bring an ensemble cast including Vidya Balan, Pratik Gandhi, Ileana D’cruz, and India-American actor Sendhil Ramamurthy. The yet-to-be-titled film is touted as a romantic comedy-drama about modern relationships. Ad-maker Shirsha Guha Thakurta will direct the movie.
Vidya announced the new project on Twitter. she shared her picture with the film’s cast, and she wrote, “Excited about my next – an untitled charming drama-comedy about modern relationships, with awesome co-stars @pratikg80, @ileana_official, @sendhil_rama, helmed by Shirsha Guha Thakurta. Back with my Tumhari Sulu producers @EllipsisEntt. My first with @applausesocial.”
The casting is eclectic and electrifying, with the dazzling Vidya Balan and Pratik Gandhi coming together. They shot into overnight stardom with Applause’s very own breakthrough show, Scam 1992: The Harshad Mehta Story. The ravishing Ileana D’Cruz and Hollywood heartthrob Sendhil Ramamurthy also turn up their incredible charm and add to this absolute cracker of a foursome.

The film is currently filming in locations across Mumbai and Ooty.
