Filmmaker Sajid Samji of the famous writer-director duo Sajid-Farhad is ready to make his solo debut as director. He announced his first solo directorial film Hari Up, presented by Tips Industries, Bay Films and Prerna V Arora. The film stars Shivin Narang in the lead role.
Taking to Twitter, Tips Films & Music shared the announcement on their official handle. They shared the film’s motion poster along with the caption, “To new and holy beginnings, a story for the soul comes from the city of Varanasi. #HariUp #ComingSoon #2022 Presented by: @tipsofficial @kumartaurani @PprernaArora Directed by: @SajidSamji Featuring: @shivin7”
Produced by Virendra Arora, Manan Sampat, Reshabh Saraf and Salman M Shaikh. The maker of the film has not yet shared any details about the movie.
Sajid and Farhad had made their debut with Ram Gopal Varma’s Shiva. Both gave several hit films such as Rohit Shetty’s Bol Bachchan, Golmaal, and Singham. Now Sajid marks his solo debut with the film Hari Up. Before Sajid, Farhad made his solo debut with Housefull 4 in 2019.
As per the report in the Bollywood Hungama, Kumar Taurani Of Tips said, “TIPS is contributing one of the best music for Hari UP the film has an important social message, the music of the film is a different attempt from us to surprise the audience with something very special, we have already worked with Sajid in the past and its a great experience collaborating with Prernaa.”
