The Kerala Story Starring Adah Sharma Gets A Release Date

The Kerala Story actress Adah Sharma has shown several posters and announced the theatrical release date for the upcoming social drama. Sudipto Sen is the film’s writer and director.

Following accusations made in the teaser that thousands of girls from Kerala were being converted to Islam to be recruited by the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS), the movie courted controversy.

Sharing the posters, Adah Sharma captioned her post, “Shalini Unnikrishnan, From Freedom to Fear, From Smiles to Silence, From Innocence to Terrorism, Uncovering the Truth that they want to hide. #TheKeralaStory in cinemas on 5th May. Trailer Out tomorrow #VipulAmrutlalShah @sudipto_sen @aashin_shah @sunshinepicturesofficial @devadarshnichetan @adah_ki_adah @iyogitabihani @soniabalani9 @siddhi_idnani @aka.vijaykrishna @pranaypachauri @pranavmisshra #SunshinePictures #adahsharma”

Tomorrow will see the release of the movie’s trailer. Adah Sharma played Fathima Ba, a Hindu Malayali nurse who converted to Islam and joined ISIS before winding up in an Afghan prison, in an earlier teaser released by the film’s creators. She asserts to be one of the 32,000 Hindu and Christian females from Kerala who are “missing” after being recruited by the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria after converting to Islam.

The movie is scheduled for release in theatres on May 5, 2023.
