Anupam Kher and Mithun Chakraborty starrer upcoming film ‘The Kashmir Files’ will release on January 26 next year. Anupam shared the update about the movie on social media on Friday.
Taking Twitter, Anupam Kher shared the film’s poster with a release date on it. Along with the poster, he wrote, “Kashmiri Hindus had to wait for more than 31years for the world to know their story of genocide. But now, finally presenting the first-ever true story of the Kashmir Genocide, #TheKashmirFiles releases on Republic Day 2022. Please bless us @vivekagnihotri #RightToJustice.”
Written and directed by Vivek Ranjan Agnihotri, who has earlier directed The Tashkent Files. The Kashmir Files is based on the genocide of Kashmiri Hindus.
Zee Studios present the Kashmir Files. Produced by Tej Narayan Agarwal, Abhishek Agarwal, Pallavi Joshi, and Vivek Agnihotri. The film also stars Actors Pallavi Joshi and Darshan Kumar.
Anupam Kher was last seen in the film ‘The Accidental Prime Minister,’ who played Manmohan Singh’s role. He will be next seen in the movie ‘The Last Show,’ with Satish Kaushik.
