Meanwhile, Thank You For Coming narrates the story of Kanika, portrayed by Bhumi Pednekar, who was born to a single mother (Natasha Rastogi), a gynaecologist who endured societal criticism for having a kid out of wedlock. Kanika starts on a serial dating journey to prevent a similar fate, searching for validation from men and hoping to find her love. After three extensive but unfulfilling relationships, she reaches her thirtieth birthday. She tearfully confesses to her best friends Pallavi (Dolly Singh) and Tina (Shibani Bedi) that she has never experienced an orgasm.
