Taapsee Pannu has shared the first look of her upcoming film Woh Ladki Hai Kahan? on Monday. She is sharing screen space with Scam 1992 fame actor Pratik Gandhi. In the film, both will be seen together for the first time. Arshad Syed has written and directed the movie.
Taapsee took Twitter to share the first look of the film. In the picture, Tapsee is seen in the uniform of a police inspector. She is seen looking at the map, while Pratik can be seen wearing an outfit of a groom. Sharing the picture on Twitter, she wrote, “Pratik Gandhi and I are all set to find his missing bride in Junglee Pictures & Roy Kapur Films’ next comedy-drama #WohLadkiHaiKahaan? Here’s the #FirstLook!!”
As per the report in the ANI, speaking about playing a police officer for the first time, Taapsee said, “Playing a policewoman and doing a comedy film has always been on my checklist, and I am happy that it is finally ticked off. I had seen Pratik’s work, and I think he is a very talented actor, and I enjoy working with him. Arshad has written an amazing script with great comic quirks and also a lot of heart, which I am looking forward to.”
Talking about the role and experience of working with the film, Pratik Gandhi said, “My character in Woh Ladki Hai Kahaan? is very different from anything I have ever done before, and that is very exciting. Taapsee is super talented, and I am so thrilled to be working with her. Arshad has a great vision, and he has written the story with so much nuance! I am sure the audiences will love it,” reported the ANI.
On the Workfront, Pratik will be seen in a yet-to-be-titled film with Vidya Balan. Taapsee has wrapped up the shoot of her movie, Shabaash Mithu, the biopic of ace Indian cricketer Mithali Raj.
