Actor Suriya released the trailer of his latest production film Raame Aandalum Raavane Aandalum (RaRa). The film will release on Friday, September 24, on Amazon Prime. Rara features an ensemble cast that includes Mithun Maickam, Vani Bhojan, Ramya Pandian and Vadivel Murugan.
Suriya shared the film’s trailer on his Twitter page. He captioned it, “Every film should entertain & make an impact; I believe this new team has made a strong one. Hope you like it!”
RARA follows the story of a Married couple, Kunnimuthu and Veerayi. The film revolves around their struggle to find their missing bulls, Vellaiyan and Karuppan. The trailer doesn’t tell what happened to the beloved bulls of the couple. But Kunnimuthu desperately searches for the bulls and the story of his journey involving trysts with politicians and police officials.
Suriya’s 2D Entertainment has sealed a four-film deal with Amazon Prime Video to premiere the four flicks in four months, including the star’s courtroom drama ‘Jai Bhim’. RaRa is the first film of the four-film deal. The film was written and directed by Arisil Moorthy.
The title is lifted from the evergreen song of the same name from Superstar Rajinikanth’s Mullum Malarum (1978), produced by Suriya and Jyothika. RaRa will release on Amazon Prime Video on September 24.
