Varun Dhawan and Shashank Khaitan are collaborating once more after the success of Alia Bhatt’s Dulhania series. However, Varun, Shashank, and Janhvi Kapoor are teaming up this time. Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari is a romantic film under production by Dharma Productions. The film is planned to be in theatres on April 18, 2025.
The teaser clip from Dharma Movies was uploaded by filmmaker Karan Johar on February 21, implying that a love story is about to arrive. The credit for the video read “directed by SK,” which led some fans to believe that Shashank Khaitan could be the director.
Karan Johar posted the announcement video on Instagram. With a caption, he posted, “A kahaani of ‘Sanskari’ & his to-be ‘Kumari’! This love story wrapped with entertainment is coming to the big screens! #SunnySanskarikitulsikumari in cinemas, 18th April 2025!”.
On Instagram, Varun Dhawan and Janhvi Kapoor stated how excited they were to work with Shashank Khaitan and Karan Johar again. Janhvi posted the video of the announcement with the description, “Your Sanskari is on his way to get his Kumari! This love story wrapped with entertainment is coming to the big screens.”
