The trailer of the upcoming romantic drama Shiddat is out—the film Starring Radhika Madan and Sunny Kaushal in lead roles. The trailer of the film shows the lead pair playing the characters of Kartika and Jaggi, respectively. Along with Sunny and Radhika, the trailer shows other star casts, including Mohit Raina and Diana Penty.
Taking Twitter, Disney plus Hotstar shared the film’s trailer on their official handle with the caption, “Feel the power of love with #ShiddatTrailer out now. #Shiddat releasing on 1st October on #DisneyPlusHotstarMultiplex”
The trailer begins with Radhika Madan playing the role of Kartika, a bubbly girl who is quite clear with her feelings. At the same time, Sunny plays the role of Jaggi, who is madly in love with her. The duo is spreading magic with their sizzling chemistry. But there’s one slight glitch. Kartika is engaged to be married to someone who is not Jaggi. After a lovey-dovey first half, the film’s trailer concentrates on Jaggi’s personal struggle to convince the love of his life. Mohit Raina and Diana Penty also make appearances in the movie.
Kunal Deshmukh directed the Shiddat, produced by Dinesh Vijan’s Maddock Films and Bhushan Kumar’s T-Series. Sridhar Raghavan and Dheeraj Rattan wrote the film’s story.
Speaking about the film, producer Dinesh Vijan said, “As a genre, love stories are timeless; audiences have always embraced them. An emotion each and every one of us has felt, the agony, the ecstasy, the whole grandeur of romance is what we have tried to capture in Shiddat.”
Shiddat will premiere on Disney+Hotstar on October 1.
