The Shetty-Kundra family’s legal issues are still ongoing. Sunanda Shetty, Shilpa Shetty’s mother, is the latest victim. In a debt default and cheating charge, a city court granted her bail on Tuesday. The Andheri metropolitan magistrate court dismissed the bailable warrant against Sunanda Shetty last month. Recently, Shetty went to court to hear the verdict from Metropolitan magistrate RR Khan.
Sunanda Shetty’s late spouse Surendra Shetty allegedly took a Rs 21 lakh loan in 2015, leading to the cheating case. Parshad provided the financing on behalf of Shetty’s firm, Corgifts. On the other hand, Surendra Shetty died in 2016, and Amra alleged that the Shetty family refused to repay the loan. The matter had previously been linked to Shilpa Shetty and her sister Shamita.
The proceedings against Shilpa and Shamita were later stopped by the sessions court, but the magistrate was allowed to proceed against their mother. In this case, Sunanda Shetty has been granted bail. In addition to this case, Raj Kundra’s adult material case is also ongoing.
