South Star Adivi Sesh’s upcoming war drama Major is ready to hit the big screen on February 11, 2022. The film is based on the life of Major Sandeep Unnikrishnan, who was martyred in the 2008 Mumbai attacks. The makers shared a video glimpse into the making of the film and showed the incredible journey of the team shooting.
Taking Twitter, Adivi shared the news about the release date of the film. Along with the update, he shared the video link of BTS moments from his shoot. Earlier, makers had also released a teaser of the film. The film showcases the life of the army officer, Major Sandeep Unnikrishnan. The filmmakers said that the film goes beyond depicting his death at the 26/11 Mumbai attacks. It will take viewers through the life, love, and legacy of Unnikrishnan.
Directed by Sashi Kiran Tikka and produced by Sony Pictures Films India in association with Mahesh Babu’s GMB Entertainment and A+S Movies. Major will be released in Hindi, Telugu, and Malayalam. The film also stars Sobhita Dhulipala, Saiee Manjrekar, Prakash Raj, and Revati.
