Sonam Kapoor will next be appearing in a leading role four years after acting in the romantic comedy The Zoya Factor alongside Dulquer Salmaan. She will next be featured in the police thriller Blind, where she plays a visually impaired officer searching for a serial killer.
Sonam, who is visually impaired, is shown in the teaser pursuing a serial killer. Although the serial murderer is barely shown in the teaser, he appears ferocious. The thriller is a remake of the same named 2011 Korean movie. Lillete Dubey, Purab Kohli, and Vinay Pathak are also featured. In Glasgow and Scotland, the movie was extensively shot.
When Sonam Kapoor moved to London during the first wave of the COVID-19 pandemic, she took a break from acting. After The Zoya Factor in 2019, she only made a small cameo in the thriller Ak vs Ak, directed by Anurag Kashyap and featuring her father, Anil Kapoor, brother Harshvardhan Kapoor, and other family members. In December 2020, the movie made its debut on Netflix India.
The film will debut on Jio Cinema on July 7.
