Bollywood actress Sonakshi Sinha, known for her versatile roles, has once again captivated audiences with her performance in the Netflix series Heeramandi: The Diamond Bazaar. Over the years, she has worked in a variety of films, showcasing her acting prowess and versatility. Numerous celebrities praised Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s series, which he directed. Sonakshi, in an interview, shared insights about her 35th movie, which she completed without any intimate scenes.
Sonakshi Sinha bravely asserted her stance on intimate scenes, informing the director that she would not be kissing or engaging in intimate sequences before filming began. She confidently stated that she believed this decision did not hinder her performance in any way.
In an interview with ETimes, Sonakshi Sinha was questioned about her attitude to movies without intimate scenes. In response, she said, “I’m on my 35th film now, and I still stand there! A good actor will always get work. In my entire career, I don’t think I have lost out on anything that has had a kissing scene or intimate scene.”
She exemplified her professionalism by clearly communicating her comfort level with the director before any filming started. She emphasized, “I’ve always made it clear to my director, the filmmaker with whom I’m working, that ‘This is something I’m not comfortable doing.’ It is totally up to you. If you still want to go ahead with me, if you think as an actor, I would bring something to the table, I will do the film but find a way around that, let’s work it out, or you are very free to go to someone else who is comfortable doing that.”
Despite a period when her movies weren’t performing well, Sonakshi’s dedication to her craft was unwavering. She continued to work, refusing to let setbacks keep her at home.
Sonakshi is currently enjoying Heeramandi’s success. The actress debuted in Salman Khan’s Dabangg in 2010.
