Actor Sidharth Malhotra has started shooting for Dharma Productions’ action film Yodha. Makers of the film shared a glimpse of the muhurat puja from the set. It is Dharma Productions’ first aerial action film, and Sidharth will play an action-hero avatar character.
Taking to Twitter, Dharma Productions’ official handle shared some photos of Muhurat Pooja from the set. They captioned the post, “Lights, camera and…ACTION! #Yodha filming begins!”
Directed by debutant director duo Pushkar Ojha and Sagar Ambre. Shashank Khaitan is also producing under his banner Mentor Disciple Films. Yodha’s leading lady has yet to be revealed.
Recently, Karan Johar shared a motion poster of the film Yodha on his Twitter with a release date. The video of the motion poster began with a shot of a burning plane. Then we see Sidharth in-plane with a fierce look and holding a fighter gun. Along with the motion poster, Karan captioned it, “After conquering the peaks, I am proud to present Sidharth Malhotra back with power in the first of the action franchise by Dharma Productions – #Yodha. Directed by the dynamic duo – Sagar Ambre and Pushkar Ojha. Landing in cinemas near you on 11th November 2022.”
Sidharth was last seen in Dharma Productions’ film Shershaah, along with Kiara Advani. The actor got a positive response from both critics and the audience for his portrayal of Captain Vikram Batra. He also has ‘Mission Majnu’ with Rashmika Mandanna.
