After giving an electrifying performance in the film ‘Shershah,’ actor Sidharth Malhotra is ready for his upcoming movie ‘Mission Majnu.’ The film will hit the theatres on May 13 next year. Sidharth took to social media to share an update about the film.
He tweeted a picture of him holding a vintage telephone and wrote, “Get ready to be a part of India’s greatest covert operation that derailed Pakistan’s illicit Nuclear Ambitions! Inspired by real events, #MissionMajnu releasing on May 13, 2022, in a cinema near you.”
Mission Majnu is based on actual events in the 1970s and talks about India’s most daring mission into Pakistan’s heartland, which forever transformed the two countries’ relationship. Malhotra is essaying the role of RAW agent. South Indian actress Rashmika Mandanna is going to make her Bollywood debut with this project.
Produced by RSVP movies of Ronnie Screwvala and Amar Butala and Garima Mehta’s Guilty By Association Media. Mission Majnu is written by Parveez Shaikh, Aseem Arrora, and Sumit Batheja. Shantanu Baagchi directs the film, and it also stars Sharib Hashmi and Kumud Mishra in pivotal roles.
Mission Majnu will release in theatres on May 13, 2022.
