Showtime Trailer: Emraan Hashmi, Naseeruddin Shah, Mouni Roy starrer series is on nepotism in Bollywood

Among the most well-known and successful filmmakers in Bollywood is Karan Johar. Over his career, he has supported many intriguing projects as a producer. With Emraan Hashmi, Mouni Roy, and Naseeruddin Shah in the lead roles, Showtime is one of his most anticipated projects. Karan finally unveiled the highly anticipated trailer for the web series Showtime on February 13.

Karan Johar released a trailer for his new web series Showtime on Instagram. Emraan Hashmi tells Mouni Roy in the video’s first scene that he has been working extremely hard to take the studio to the top but has not received any reward for his work. Mahima Makwana’s character, the reporter, is heard talking about issues like nepotism on TV. 

In the trailer, Naseeruddin Shah is heard saying, “Iss studio meri jaan hai,” and that nobody can take it from him. For viewers looking for captivating entertainment, Showtime looks to be a must-watch thanks to its captivating plot that divulges the biggest trade secrets of the entertainment industry and Emraan Hashmi’s charming presence.

Karan shared the trailer and wrote, “Cinemas aur pardein ke peeche ka cinema! #HotstarSpecials #Showtime streaming March 8th only on Disney+ Hotstar!”

Showtime was created by Sumit Roy and was directed by Mihir Desai and Archit Kumar. Emraan Hashmi, Naseeruddin Shah, Mouni Roy, Badshah, Shriya Saran, Vijay Raaz, Mahima Makwana, Lara Chandani, and more prominent actors comprise the series’ outstanding cast. Dharmatic, the digital division of Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions, is backing it. The show’s executive producers include Apoorva Mehta, Somen Mishra, and Mihir Desai in addition to him.

In the meantime, on March 8, 2024, Showtime will make its Disney+ Hotstar debut.
