Veteran actor Satinder Kumar Khosla, known as Birbal, passed away on Tuesday night. He passed away in a hospital in Mumbai, according to the news agency ANI.
Jugnu, a friend of Satinder, confirmed the news to the agency that he had passed away. At the Kokilaben Hospital, the actor passed away from cardiac arrest. On Wednesday, his last rites will be performed.
The Cine & TV Artistes’ Association (CINTAA) conveyed its heartfelt condolences to Satinder via its official X (formerly known as Twitter) account. A post stated, “CINTAA expresses its condolences on the demise of Birbal (Member since 1981).”
Satinder is most well-known for its comic characters. He has instantly recognized thanks to his unique look, which included a big moustache and a bald head. He participated in several Manoj Kumar movies, including Upkar, Roti Kapda Aur Makaan, and Kranti.
But what made him famous was his portrayal of a prisoner in the movie Sholay. He also appeared in films like Yaarana, Naseeb, Hum Hain Rahi Pyar Ke, and Anjaam.
