The much-awaited song Habit, featuring Shehnaaz Gill and Sidharth Shukla, is finally out. It was Sidharth’s last song. He passed away on September 2, before completing the shoot of the song. The earlier song was titled Adhura, but after a social media campaign by SidNaaz fans, makers changed its name to Habit.
Habit song is a tribute to the late Sidharth Shukla. The music video shows Shehnaaz Gill remembering Sidharth, as he couldn’t complete the shooting. The song is a musical montage. The makers used the Behind-The-Scene (BTS) footage of the portion he shot for the song. BTS clips show the duo having fun on the sets of the song shoot. As soon as the song was out, emotional fans flooded the comment section. They showed love and support for Shehnaaz and offered their tribute to the late actor.
Sung by Arko and Shreya Ghoshal, Arko has also composed the song. The song begins with Shehnaaz saying a Hindi verse, “Bichda is Kadar ki rut hi Badal Gayi. Ek shaks sare seher ko viraan kar gaya.”
On October 18, music label Saregama’s official Twitter handle shared that the name of Sidnazz’s mucic video Adhura to Habit. They shared the song poster with a changed name and captioned it, “#Sidnaaz fans: We heard you. Make way for Habit. Enough said!”
Sidharth Shukla breathed his last on September 2 due to a cardiac arrest. The late actor was cremated in Oshiwara on September 3.
