Riding high on the success of Pathaan, superstar Shah Rukh Khan is already shooting for his next action adventure, Jawan. A behind-the-scenes picture of him from the sets of Atlee’s forthcoming film Jawan surfaced on social media and spread like wildfire.
In the picture which SRK’s fan page has released, we can see a masked SRK shooting for the project.
The action thriller film is written and directed by Atlee. It stars Shah Rukh Khan in a dual role along with Vijay Sethupathi, Nayanthara, Sanya Malhotra and Priyamani. The film’s music is composed by Anirudh Ravichander.
The last time we saw Shah Rukh Khan was in the blockbuster Pathaan with Deepika Padukone and John Abraham. In the first week after its release, the movie brought in over 550 crores. Last week, the film was also released in Tamil and Telugu.
Shah Rukh Khan appeared in a few films last year in cameo roles other than Pathaan. He had a guest appearance in both Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt’s Brahmastra and Madhavan’s Rocketry: The Nambi Effect.
In recent years, SRK has also been a rather prolific producer. Darlings, Alia Bhatt’s first film production, was one he co-produced.
Jawan is scheduled for theatrical release on 2 June 2023.
