Pooja Hegde and Shahid Kapoor’s Deva is one of the most eagerly awaited films of the year. Under Roshhan Andrews’ direction, the actor’s first look from the action entertainer was revealed last year, and the excitement surrounding the movie has been building ever since. The filmmakers added a layer of intrigue to the anticipation by revealing Shahid Kapoor’s new look in the film along with the new release date.
On July 19, Shahid Kapoor shared an intriguing new look from his upcoming movie Deva on his Instagram account. As far as we know, Roshhan Andrews will direct, and he will play a rebellious police officer. In the latest post, he is seen holding a gun while wearing body protection that says “POLICE.”
His sharp looks, enhanced by his rugged physique, short hair, stubble beard, and stylish eyeglasses, contribute to his deadly demeanour. The post’s caption announced its release has been postponed, stating, “Get ready for a VIOLENT VALENTINE’S DAY DEVA, releasing in theatres on 14th Feb 2025!”
The wrap-up of the action-thriller movie’s filming was announced on July 9, almost a week ago. Every member of the crew, including Shahid, was spotted celebrating the completion of the shoot by cutting the cake. The team members also attended a wrap-up celebration that same evening.
Last year, on October 24, 2023, Shahid unveiled the film’s first look in celebration of Dussehra. He looked terrific in the post, wearing a white shirt and beige pants and looking dapper. At first, October 11, 2024, was also listed as the film’s release date.
Zee Studios and Roy Kapur Films are backing the much-awaited Deva. Siddharth Roy Kapur is producing the action-packed thriller. Pooja Hegde plays the main role of a journalist, while Shahid plays an intelligent but defiant police officer in the film, which is directed by renowned Malayalam director Rosshan Andrews. In addition, Pavail Gulati and Kubbra Sait will play important roles in it.
