On Tuesday, actor Shah Rukh Khan hosted Eric Garcetti, the recently appointed US ambassador to India, at his Mannat house in Mumbai. Later Tuesday night, Eric uploaded pictures from his visit to Twitter. Shah Rukh and Eric posed side-by-side in the first photo inside Shah Rukh’s Bandra mansion.
The following image depicts Shah Rukh smiling while holding something and gazing at his hands. Eric was standing close by, holding a ball. Pooja Dadlani, Shah Rukh’s manager, smiled as she looked at another person. Gauri Khan, the interior designer and wife of Shah Rukh, smiled while looking at Pooja.
Shah Rukh was spotted wearing matching trousers, a black hoodie, and a cap. Gauri was also spotted wearing black, and Pooja wore denim and a white tee. A large painting was hung on a red brick wall on one side of the room where they gathered. The ceiling was also embellished with a chandelier. Also visible in the image were couches and a coffee table.
Eric posted the pictures with the caption, “Is it time for my Bollywood debut? I had a wonderful chat with superstar @iamsrk at his residence Mannat, learning more about the film industry in Mumbai and discussing the huge cultural impact of Hollywood and Bollywood across the globe. #AmbExploresIndia.”
A fan responded to the post by writing, “Caption should have been ‘with the only legend’.” Another one said, “Ambassador sir, absolutely, Karan Arjun 2 it should be.”
