Jawan, Shah Rukh Khan’s most recent blockbuster, kept growing at the box office as it surpassed ₹1117 crore on Sunday. Red Chillies Entertainment, the official account of the movie’s production, announced the news on Monday, revealing that the movie’s current worldwide earnings total ₹1117.39 crore.
The post stated, “Another day, successful streak at the box office. That’s Jawan for you.” The new releases don’t seem to have had much of an impact on Jawan’s box office earnings as it enters its fifth week at the ticket windows.
Last week, Jawan made history by becoming the first Hindi movie in Indian cinema history to earn more than 1100 crores in its opening weekend. This achievement made it the highest-grossing Indian film of 2023 as well.
Jawan, directed by Atlee, also stars Deepika Padukone, Ridhi Dogra, Priyamani, Sunil Grover, Nayanthara, and Sanya Malhotra. Sanjay Dutt makes a short appearance in the movie as well. Jawan, released in Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu, garnered 80.1 crore rupees on its first Sunday in theatres throughout India (in all three languages).
