Shah Rukh Khan will appear as a journalist in both the Hindi and English versions of R. Madhavan’s film Rocketry: The Nambi Effect.
In the upcoming movie Rocketry: The Nambi Effect, directed by R. Madhavan, Shah Rukh Khan will make a cameo as a journalist. The highly awaited film, which also serves as Madhavan’s directorial debut, is almost ready for release. The actor has recently been busy marketing his movie, and he disclosed that Shah Rukh Khan had expressed interest in being a part of it. Additionally, he revealed that the Badshah of Bollywood did not demand any payment for his performance.
While promoting the movie in New Delhi recently, R. Madhavan said that SRK wanted to be a part of Rocketry, according to ANI. While collaborating with SRK on Zero, the actor recalled bringing up the movie. “He recalled it happening at one of his birthday celebrations. He conveyed his willingness to be a part of the movie and inquired about the movie’s status. ‘Mujhe background main koi bhi role chalega. Main is film ka hissa hona Chahta hu (I’m ready to play any role in the background. I want to be a part of this film), Khan Sahab told me.”
Madhavan added that he believed SRK was making fun of something. On the advice of his wife Sarita, he texted Shah Rukh’s management, requesting that she convey his sincere gratitude. “I sent a message to Khan Sahab’s manager asking her to thank him for everything, and I received a text message back from her right away stating,’ Khan Sahab dates puch rahe hai shoot ki (Khan sir is asking about the dates of the shoot)’ Madhavan shared.
He also disclosed that neither SRK nor Suriya, who would play the same cameo role of a journalist in the various versions of the movie, receive payment for their performances. Additionally, he revealed that the two performers did not charge for their caravans, clothes, or helpers.
In the film Rocketry: The Nambi Effect, R Madhavan will portray the esteemed ISRO aerospace engineer Nambi Narayanan. The narrative covers his life from when he graduated from Princeton University until he was wrongfully detained and charged with espionage in 1994. The movie Rocketry: The Nambi Effect, released in Hindi, Tamil, and English, is scheduled to debut in theatres on July 1 this year.
