On the Auspicious occasion of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj’s coronation day, 6th June, the makers of SARSENAPATI HAMBIRRAO releases the Teaser of the Historical epic. Instead of the titular character, Teaser introduces us to Gashmeer Mahajani as Maratha King Chhatrapati Shivaji, ascending the throne. Mahajani looks royal and majestic as Maratha king.
Hambirrao Mohite was the chief military commander of Shivaji’s army. He executed several campaigns for Shivaji Raje and later served under Sambhaji Raje.
Gashmeer Mahajani also shared Teaser on his Instagram with a caption (translated in English), ‘Sarsenapati Hambirrao “is not just a movie, but this movie will express a sacred feeling associated with both our Chhatrapatis, in the cinema soon. But before that, on this holy day, this is the glimpse of our Maharaj.’
Sarsenapati Hambirrao was announced by Director Pravin Tarde two years ago. However, the makers are yet to announce the rest of the cast. The film is being produced by Sandeep Mohite Patil, Dharmendra Bora and Saujanya Nikam.
