Sanjay Dutt becomes the newest entrant in the list of actors who own their own production houses. Son of Bollywood greats Sunil and Nargis Dutt, Sanjay has made his foray into production. His production house named, Three Dimension Motion Pictures, aims to bring back the golden age of heroism to the industry.
The veteran actor, who has won several accolades and awards, including two Filmfare Awards and three Screen Awards, has given countless hits over the years. He felt that with the huge success of pan India films like Pushpa and Baahubali, he thinks that larger-than-life heroism in Bollywood has vanished.
Talking to Variety, Sanjay said. “When we entered the film industry, we started off with the heroism, the heroic roles, the mass love, and everything, and I just saw that stopping. And I am trying to revive that.”
Sanjay Dutt, 62, started his acting debut with the 1981 film Rocky. He ruled the silver screen in the 80s and 90s.
The production house Three Dimension is preparing for upcoming films, including horror-comedy The Virgin Tree, directed by Sidhant Sachdev. The film is set to introduce four newcomers. The rest of the movies are yet to be given any title. But the genre will mostly be family dramas and action films.
Meanwhile, on the professional front, Sanjay will be seen in upcoming films Prithviraj, Shamshera, and KGF: Chapter 2.
