It would be fair to admit that last year was Bollywood’s worst time. We experienced disappointment with movies like Raksha Bandhan, Laal Singh Chaddha, Shamshera and Cirkus, all belonging to A-list celebrities. Yet, the time also brought many South Asian masterpieces to light, like Kantara, KGF Chapter 2 and RRR. It appears that Samantha Ruth Prabhu would probably avoid the controversy that arose between the North and South films.
Other actors have addressed the subject previously, such as Dhanush, Akshay Kumar, Kangana Ranaut, R Madhavan and Jaya Bachchan. Nonetheless, the majority dismissed the difference and supported Indian movies.
Samantha Ruth Prabhu was the most recent actor to answer questions about bridging the gap between North and South films. The actress replied to ANI, “There’s no wall between North and South films now, and I don’t want to engage in any debate over this. Working in films across languages gives me immense pleasure as an actor. Nowadays, audiences also watch movies from different languages.”
While working, she is prepared to collaborate on Citadel with Bollywood star Varun Dhawan. She continued to appear in the Russo Brothers’ TV series despite frequent rumours that she would leave due to health problems.
