Vicky Kaushal is now preparing for his much-awaited film Sam Bahadur to hit theatres. The makers finally released the second song from the film, Banda, adding to everyone’s anticipation.
On Wednesday, Vicky Kaushal released Sam Bahadur’s song “Banda” on his Instagram account. He stated, “A force of strength, A great soldier in every sense. रब का banda hai ye,सब का banda hai ye! #Banda song out now!” Shankar Mahadevan sang the song, and Gulzar wrote the lyrics. The musical trio Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy composed the music.
Starring with Vicky Kaushal, Sam Manekshaw, India’s first field marshal, inspires Sam Bahadur. His military career spanned over four decades and five conflicts. In 1971, he emerged victorious in the Indo-Pak war, establishing Bangladesh. He was the first Indian Army officer to be appointed to the rank of field marshal.
In addition to Vicky, Neeraj Kabi, Saqib Ayub, Edward Sonnenblick, Richard Bhakti Klein, Captain Attiqur Rahman, and Subedar Gurbaksh Singh, played by Krishna Kant Singh Bundela, are also featured in significant parts in Sam Bahadur. Along with Sanya Malhotra as Sam’s love interest, it also stars Fatima Sana Shaikh as former Indian Prime Minister Indira Gandhi.
