Salman Khan starrer upcoming film ‘Kabhi Eid Kabhi Diwali’ will arrive early on the silver screen. The much-awaited movie was earlier slated to hit theatres on Eid 2023 but now will release on December 30, 2022. It happens to be the birthday weekend for the actor, who was born on December 27.
The official handle of Nadiadwala grandson confirmed the news on Twitter. They shared the photo of Sajid Nadiadwala and Salman, with the caption, “Celebrate #KabhiEidKabhiDiwali on New Year with @BeingSalmanKhan & #SajidNadiadwala directed by @farhad_samji Releasing in cinemas on 30th December 2022.@WardaNadiadwala.”
Directed by Farhad Samji and produced by Sajid Nadiadwala under the banner of Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment. The film also stars Pooja Hegde as the female lead. The film marks the seventh collaboration between Nadiadwala and Khan after films such as Jeet, Judwaa, Har Dil Jo Pyaar Karega, Mujhse Shaadi Karoge, Jaan-E-Mann, and Kick.
Pooja Hegde and Salman will be sharing screen first time for the film. She recently accompanied Salman on his Da-Bangg tour and matched steps on stage.
Salman has a trend of releasing movies on Eid, and his fans wait for Eid to look at their favourite actor. He had first announced his film’s title in 2020, which was supposed to release on Eid 2021, but got delayed due to Covid-19.
