Shehnaaz Kaur Gill, who has experience in the Punjabi film industry, is excited to make her Hindi film debut with Salman Khan in Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan and appreciates Bhaijaan for being a wise mentor and motivator.
Talking to the media during film promotion, we asked Shehnaaz about working with Salman Khan and his personality off-camera. She said, “When Salman Khan is doing a film, he is playing a character, that is a different story, but when he is on Bigg Boss sets or interacting with you off-camera, he is the same. He is exactly what he seems. He gives good advice, motivates people, and tells them to move forward.”
Shehnaaz continued by expressing her admiration for the Hindi movie’s enormous sets and gigantic budget and her hope that Punjabi cinema will soon enter the mega-budget film market.
She said, “I was awe-struck with the set of the film. I think Bollywood movies are huge in terms of budget. Everything is grand. I hope the Punjabi industry also makes big-budget films like this one. I had an amazing experience working on the film. I saw many things for the first time and was like, wow, this is like this. I was exactly like that.”
Farhad Samji is the director of Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan, of which Salman Khan Films is the producer. Along with a large supporting cast, the movie stars Salman Khan, Venkatesh, Pooja Hegde, and Jagapathi Babu. The release date is April 21, 2023, on the Eid holiday.
