Salman Khan House Firing: Mumbai Crime Branch files a case against gangster Rohit Godara 

Last month, there was a shocking firing incident outside the home of Bollywood superstar Salman Khan. Regular updates are being received as the situation is still being investigated. As of right now, gangster Rohit Godara is the target of a case that the Mumbai Crime Branch has registered concerning the firing.

A case has been registered against Rohit Godara in relation to the firing incident that took place on April 14 outside Salman Khan’s Galaxy Apartments in Mumbai, according to a recent report by the news agency ANI on their X (Twitter) account. Godara has been involved as an accused in the investigation as well. 

The tweet stated, “Mumbai Crime Branch registered a case against gangster Rohit Godara in the firing case at Salman Khan’s residence. Mumbai Crime Branch made gangster Rohit Godara an accused.”

It continued, “Mumbai Crime Branch has so far arrested 6 accused in the Salman Khan firing case, 4 accused are absconding, and the search is on.”

The investigation has led to significant developments, with the Mumbai Crime Branch apprehending several key individuals. Among them are Sagar Pal and Vicky Gupta, identified as the shooters, and Anuj Thapan and Sonu Subhash Chander, the alleged suppliers of the firearms. The fifth accused, Muhammad Chaudhary, was recently apprehended in Rajasthan, marking a significant breakthrough in the case.  

In the wake of the incident, Salman Khan’s security has been significantly bolstered. He now makes public appearances accompanied by a robust security detail. Despite the unsettling events, the superstar remains committed to his work. He is set to commence filming for ‘Sikandar ‘, his highly anticipated project with actress Rashmika Mandanna. The film, directed by AR Murugadoss and presented by Sajid Nadiadwala, is slated for an Eid 2025 release.
