Salman Khan has completed the shooting schedule of his upcoming Telugu debut film Godfather. The film also stars Chiranjeevi, Nayanthara, and Ram Charan. Directed by Mohan Raja, he recently shared a BTS clip from the film sets featuring Salman Khan.
Taking to Twitter, directer Manoj Raja shared a BTS clip from the set. He wrote, “Finished an Amazing Schedule with the Mighty Man, Sweetness Personified Dearmost Bhai @beingsalmankhan. Thanks, Bhai for Making this So Comfortable and So Memorable, And Thanks to OUR pillar of Support @kchirutweets for making this happen for Our #GodFather @MusicThaman & Team.”
Godfather is the official Telugu remake of actor Prithviraj Sukumaran’s Malayalam film Lucifer. The film starred Mohanlal, Vivek Oberoi and Manju Warrier in lead roles. The film marked Prithviraj’s directorial debut, and he played a cameo in his directorial venture. Salman is likely to reprise Prithviraj’s role in Chiranjeevi’s Godfather.
Earlier, Chiranjeevi had welcomed Salman on the sets of Godfather. He shared his photo with Salman on Twitter and captioned it, “Welcome aboard #Godfather, Bhai @BeingSalmanKhan! Your entry has energized everyone & the excitement has gone to the next level. Sharing a screen with you is an absolute joy. Your presence will no doubt give that magical #KICK to the audience.”
Jointly produced by Konidela Production Company, Jayam Company and NVR Cinema LLP. Apart from Chiranjeevi and Salman Khan, Godfather features Satyadev Kancharana, Nayanthara, Harish Uthaman, Jayaprakash and Vamsi Krishna in important roles. Cinematography by Nirav Shah and music by S Thaman.
