The much-anticipated action thriller Salaar features Prabhas, a well-known actor, and renowned filmmaker Prashanth Neel working together for the first time. After a long wait, the most anticipated Salaar trailer has finally been released on social media by the film’s creators. Today (July 6, Thursday) at 5.12 AM, the first peek of Prabhas and Prashanth Neel’s action-packed visual spectacular was released on social media platforms. As was to be expected, the highly anticipated teaser got a positive response from Prabhas fans, and it is currently topping social media.
The 1.46-minute trailer, skillfully created, makes it clear that Prabhas and Prashanth Neel’s huge project will be an absolute treat for viewers who adore action movies and spectacular visual effects on big screens. The Salaar teaser opens with a scene that introduces actor-director Tinnu Anand as the narrator. At the same time, he is surrounded by several foreign gangsters who are holding weapons in their hands. The man, however, who appears unconcerned by the approaching attack, gives a stern warning to his enemies. The star of Salaar, Prabhas, is simultaneously introduced against the background of an industrial area.
The lead character, played by Prabhas, is shown defeating a whole battalion of soldiers alone. However, the teaser just partially displays his face, maintaining the element of mystery. The Telugu superstar is seen in a rough avatar, wearing a grey t-shirt and a pair of dark grey pants, with weapons and blood in his hands, revealing the cruelty of his character. This is similar to how he appeared in the film’s first posters.
Shruti Haasan stars as the female lead in the Prashanth Neel film. This is the first time the actress has worked with Prabhas on screen. In the movie, Jagapathi Babu plays Raja Mannaar, the father of Prithviraj Sukumaran’s Varadaraja Mannaar. Garuda Ram, Easwari Rao, Tinnu Anand, Sriya Reddy, Madhu Guruswamy, and other actors also appear in supporting parts. Ravi Basrur wrote the original score and songs. Vijay Kiragandur is funding Salaar under the banner of Hombale Films.
