Sajid Nadiadwala Dedicates National Film Award To SSR.

Late actor Sushant Singh Rajput starrer Film  Chhichhore received the Best Hindi Feature Film award at the 67th National Film Awards Ceremony. The producer and director of the film, Sajid Nadiadwala and Nitesh Tiwari, were present to accept the award on behalf of the Film’s team. They dedicated the award to the Sushant Singh Rajput, who passed away on June 14, 2020.

The production house of the film Chhichore, Nadiadwala Grandson, shared the news on their official Twitter handle. They shared the picture Sushant Singh Rajput and Sajid Nadiadwala along with the caption, “A Moment of Pride for all of us at NGE today as we’ve received the prestigious National Award for #Chhichhore! Thank you, @initeshtiwari  for this special movie! We’re really grateful for all the love & dedicate this award to #SushantSinghRajput.”

They also shared the video of Sajid Nadiadwala receiving the National Award at the ceremony and captioned the post, “A heartfelt thank you for all the love we’ve received for #Chhichhore! What a glorious moment for all of us today!”

At the ceremony, according to a report by the Hindustan Times, Film director Nitesh Tiwari said, “Sushant is an integral part of our film. He made us proud. We are dedicating this award to him”

Chhichhore was released on September 6, 2019. Apart from Sushant, the film also stars Shraddha Kapoor, Prateik Babbar, Siddharth Narayan, Tahir Raj Bhasin, Prashant Narayanan, and Tushar Pandey. The film was Sushant’s last commercially successful film, which crossed the ₹100-crore mark.
