A famous TV actor and the winner of Bigg Boss 14, Rubina Dilaik, is ready to make her Bollywood debut with the film Ardh. She shared the first look poster of the film announcing that the shoot has started. The film is about a struggling actor in Mumbai, written and directed by singer and music composer Palash Muchhal. Along with Rubina, the film also stars Rajpal Yadav, Hiten Tejwani, and Kulbhushan Kharbanda.
Rubina shared the news on her Instagram account. Her movie poster has a backdrop of iconic locations of Mumbai with the actress’s back facing the camera, and she is seen wearing a saree with gajras on her hair, adding to her beauty. While sharing the poster, Rubina wrote, “New Beginnings #ardh @palash_muchhal @hitentejwani @rajpalofficial.”
Music composer Palash Muchhal is making his directorial debut with Ardh. It is about the struggle of an actor in a city like Mumbai. Reportedly, Rajpal Yadav plays a transgender person who comes to Mumbai to become a hero. Rubina’s character becomes his support in the new city, while Hiten plays his best friend.
Rajpal Yadav described “Ardh” as a concept-driven film. He further said, “I am delighted to be a part of this film, and I am proud of Palash. During the photoshoot, I was amazed to see his skills as a young filmmaker.”
