Filmmaker S.S. Rajamouli’s magnum opus, “RRR,” a front-runner for the Oscar, continued to make waves on the international stage by winning four honours at the Hollywood Critics Association (HCA) Awards.

The movie received awards for Best International Feature, Best Action Picture, Best Stunts, and Best Original Song for the Oscar-nominated song “Naatu Naatu”.

As Rajamouli took to the stage, he was joined by actor Ram Charan to accept the Best International Film award. The actor said: “I didn’t expect to come up on stage. My director just told me to accompany him. Thank you so much for giving us all this love. It’s a great response, so we will come back with better films and entertain you all. Thank you so much.”

All eyes are now focused on the movie’s performance at the Oscars, which are scheduled to be hosted on March 12 at the Dolby Theatre in New Angeles. The movie is now gaining pace and has won awards at the Critics’ Choice Awards and Golden Globe Awards in Los Angeles this year.
