Prior to the grand arrival of Singham Again, Rohit Shetty and Ajay Devgn made a surprising revelation on Instagram. They unveiled the motion poster of Singham, featuring the charismatic Ajay Devgn in the lead. The unexpected twist was the announcement of the movie’s re-release on October 18. Shetty’s post read, ‘BEFORE HE COMES WITH HIS FULL FORCE ON DIWALI! Experience how it all began again, Experience the mass again, Experience the euphoria again, Experience SINGHAM once more before SINGHAM AGAIN! Re-Releasing in cinemas on 18th October.’
Singham, released a week after Dusshera, will reopen in theaters two weeks before the big-screen debut of Singham Again. Shetty directed the film, which had its worldwide release in 2011. Ajay Devgn, Prakash Raj, and Kajal Aggarwal were pivotal parts of the project. With a 40 crore production budget, it made 141 crore rupees at the box office. Due to Singham’s popularity, Shetty established his Cop Universe and released Simmba and Sooryavanshi, two spin-offs. Ranveer Singh appeared in Simmba, whereas Akshay Kumar starred in Sooryavanshi.
Part of Shetty’s Cop the Universe, Singham Again is a sequel to Singham. Ajay Devgn, Kareena Kapoor, Deepika Padukone, Jackie Shroff, Tiger Shroff, Akshay Kumar, and Arjun Kapoor play important roles in the film. It will compete at the box office with Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3, starring Kartik Aaryan and Triptii Dimri.
