Tom Cruise starrer ‘Mission Impossible 7’ started its production over a year ago but was halted in June because a positive COVID test was discovered on-set. Now things got back on track after the break, as revealed by Rebecca Ferguson. she will be making her third franchise appearance in MI7, announced on Social media that she has officially wrapped on the project.
On her Instagram profile, Rebecca Ferguson shared an image alongside Tom Cruise. She revealed that she has already recorded all of her scenes for the sequel. She wrote, “And That’s a wrap for me on MI7! Thank you, my wonderfully talented & tolerant team. photo taken by @christophermcquarrie in between setups”.
Rebecca Ferguson joined the Mission: Impossible franchise in 2015 on the fifth film, Mission: Impossible – Rogue Nation, at Tom Cruise’s request. She received critical acclaim for her role as the MI6 agent, Ilsa Faust. In 2018, she reprised the role in Mission: Impossible – Fallout. In 2019, it was confirmed that she would return as Ilsa again in the seventh film.
