Actor Prabhas starrer much-awaited film Radhe Shyam has got a new release date. The romantic drama will hit the big screens on March 11, directed by Radha Krishna Kumar. The makers of the film announced it on Tuesday on social media.
Taking to Twitter, the official handle of the T-series shared the film’s poster along with the release date. They wrote, “The enthralling love story has a new release date! #RadheShyam in cinemas on 11th March! #RadheShyamOnMarch11.” The new poster of Radhe Shyam features a ship stuck in the middle of a cyclone, and the text mentioned on the poster reads, “Witness the biggest War between love & destiny.”
The film was supposed to release it on January 14 this year. However, it got postponed due to a spike in Covid-19 cases and closed down cinema halls in some states in India.
The major part of the Radhe Shyam was shot in Europe; the film has been in production since 2018. The pandemic-induced lockdowns kept the makers from completing the movie according to schedule. The shooting was completed in July last year.
Written and directed by Radha Krishna Kumar and backed by Bhushan Kumar, Vamsi and Pramod. Co-produced under the banners UV Creations, Gopikrishna Movies and T Series. Radhe Shyam also features Pooja hedge, Sachin Khedekar, Bhagyashree, Priyadarshi, Murali Sharma, Sasha Chettri, and Kunaal Roy Kapur.
Radhe Shyam will release in theatres on March 11, 2022.
