The romantic ballad Rabba Janda was created by singer Jubin Nautiyal, composer Tanishk Bagchi, and lyricist Shabbir Ahmed for the upcoming film Mission Majnu, starring Sidharth Malhotra and Rashmika Mandanna. The song has already received 7.4 million hits in less than a day of its release.
The official handle of RSVP Movies dropped the single on social media. It said, “Re-defining love with our Majnu and his Nasreen. The historical spy thriller is produced by Ronnie Screwvala, Amar Butala, and Garima Mehta and directed by Shantanu Bagchi. The movie tells the secret tale of India’s most extensive clandestine operation, which occurred before and during the 1971 Indo-Pakistani War.
Along with Rajit Kapur and Parmeet Sethi, the spy drama also stars Sharib Hashmi, Mir Sarwar, Zakir Hussain, Kumud Mishra, Arjan Bajwa, and Zakir Hussain.
The movie was first slated for a theatrical release on May 13, 2022, then again on June 10, 2022, before being postponed indefinitely. Ultimately, the movie’s theatrical distribution was scrapped; instead, Netflix would release it on January 20, 2023.
