Mumbai (Maharashtra) [India], September 6: Abhishek Ray was launched by Gulzar Sahab in groundbreaking albums. His recent collaborations with the talented Bollywood singer Anwesshaa has caught on like wildfire amongst the audience crossing millions of views. The grand music videos of these cinematic songs, namely Reshmii Dhaagey and Bismil, were shot deep in the unexplored river valleys, rhododendron forests, and apple orchards of the Kumaon Himalayas.
Known for contributing to the original music of famous Bollywood films like Paan Singh Tomar, Welcome Back, Saheb Biwi Aur Gangster, I am Kalam, etc. Abhishek continues his original album legacy creating one video song every month for his YouTube channel exclusively for music lovers. Abhishek is also a recent recipient of the national Mirchi Music Awards for best non-film songs.
“We went far and wide with a large film unit to shoot these exquisite music videos so that people locked at home due to Covid get to experience some spectacular landscapes,” says Anwesshaa. She is well known to have sung in multiple Indian languages apart from delivering Bollywood hits in films like Prem Ratan Dhan Paayo, Raanjhnaa, Golmaal Returns etc.
“It feels amazing whenever a good composer gives me some of his finest melodies. What our senses can capture, gadgets can’t fully. But still, these videos have managed to bring a slice of the grandeur of the Himalayas. The more the audiences incline towards independent music, the more empowered artists would feel as this is a space you can own if you have overflowing courage & talent,” she adds.
Abhishek Ray, who’s both the composer & video director of the two songs, feels that independent music is the future in the post COVID era. When people cannot go to theatres anymore to enjoy large songs on the big screen, it is important to give them the same experience sitting at home through cinematic music videos. Keeping that in mind, Abhishek has been religiously producing one single a month with the icons of Bollywood like Shreya Ghoshal, Sonu Nigam, Shaan, Hariharan, Kavita Krishnamurthy and others. Abhishek Ray has collaborated with four generations of artists, starting from Gulzar Sahab, Asha Bhonsle to younger voices like Bhoomi Trivedi, Pratibha Baghel, Neeti Mohan. He feels that the world needs original melodies and fine voices to break the clutter of versions and covers.
Anwesshaa adds, “Abhishek Ray intricate compositions are original & lyrically rich as he is very particular about which writers he’ll work with. Reshmii Dhaagey wouldn’t be possible without Avinash Tripathi Ji’s poetry. I enjoyed recording Bismil equally, if not more. Abhishek Ray’s tune, arrangements and his and Syed Gulrez’s lines transport me to a different time zone.”

Abhishek Ray is also known worldwide for being the creator of Sitabani Wildlife Reserve, India’s first private wildlife reserve with a tiger presence. He was recently awarded Swabhiman Bharat for his extraordinary contribution to wildlife conservation. A large part of these music videos has been shot around the reserve.

Mumbai (Maharashtra) [India], September 1: Produced by renowned producer and distributor Shri Mamidala Srinivas under the banner of Movie Max, “Street Light” is all set to hit the theatres in Telugu and Hindi. The film’s teaser is out, which is being liked a lot, and now its trailer will be launched soon. The film has also got a censor certificate.
Please note that this is an original Hindi movie and not dubbed from Telugu to Hindi, with a certificate for trade.
The film stars Tanya Desai, Ankit Raj, Kavya Reddy and senior hero Vinod Kumar. The producers have also come up with the slogan ‘Save theatres’ to release their films in theatres.
Producer Mamidala Srinivas says, “Hindi audiences always love something new. Crime, love, romance, family emotions are part of this message-oriented film. The film’s background is based on how criminal thoughts and sexual perversions change, especially with the events taking place in the dark under the Street light.
This revenge drama is a suspenseful retaliation for how a young woman enjoys her crime life and plays with the lives of innocent people. The film shot simultaneously in both Telugu and Hindi has got the censor certificate. Director Vishwa Prasad worked very hard. Thanks to the audience for supporting the teaser.
“Although we have a company called Movie Max, OTT, we wanted to release our film in OTT before they introduced us to a lot of people. But OTT provides a livelihood for only a few,” Shri Mamidala Srinivas commented.
“I humbly request everyone to release their films in theatres considering the current situation with the idea that the same theatre will provide a livelihood to many people. Also, for my part, we are releasing our film in theatres so that the slogan ‘Save theatres’ can start with me,” he further added.
The film came out well. Celebrating post-production milestones, the movie “Street Light” has got censored in Hindi and will soon get a Telugu censor. The trailer is coming soon. After its theatrical release, ‘Street Light’ will be released in OTT. He said that I sincerely want the audience to embrace our film.

Mumbai (Maharashtra) [India], August 30: A new song titled ‘Diamond ka Haar’ is catching a lot of eyeballs lately for having several influencers in its video, including Deepesh, Azhan Memon, Almaz Khan, Aasheer Khan, Husena Khan, Nawab Kewar, Tanu Jain, Javed Khan, Shubham Verma and the lead model Sana Khan. Produced by Acme muzic and Anup Kumar production in association with TIKI, the song was released on the Acme Muzic YouTube channel two days back.
Singer Viruss, who has given his voice to the hit track beside Brown Gal and Ayush Talniya, revealed its idea to cast multiple influencers in a single music video. “It was Anup Kumar Paaji who made it possible. We were planning to shoot this song, and Anup Paaji was in touch with the TIKI India team. TIKI ran a competition back in February, in which ten teams with ten influencers each competed to be a part of this music video,” said the ace singer and rapper.
Describing the song, Viruss said that ‘Diamond ka Haar’ has an amazing vibe to it. It has a modern groove with a folk touch that will definitely give you a happy feel and make you dance.
While shooting in Chandigarh for the song, Viruss said, everyone enjoyed it to their fullest. “It was an amazing experience working with the whole team of Tru makers who directed the video. We also had a lot of fun during the shoot. Sana did a great job and looks absolutely gorgeous in the video. As far as other influencers are concerned, they took it to another level with their dance moves,” he added.
Describing their experience of working with the team of ‘Diamond ka Haar’, fellow singers Brown Gal and Ayush said, “Working with people who are dedicated to the art and take their work seriously is always amazing. The same was the case with ‘Diamond keHaar’. Every person who was part of this song – from the music team to the technicians, artists etc. – gave their best to make it successful. Though everyone worked really hard, there was always an atmosphere of fun and frolic on the sets. It’s one of the most memorable experiences for us.”

Munaf Baluch and KK Binojee

It is penned by Amitabh Bhattacharya and composed by Salim-Sulaiman. The song is streaming on Merchant Records.
In the music video, Raj and Jonita are seen doing long-distance conversations through the phone, making it a perfect romantic anthem for lovers in long-distance relationships.

I’ve had the fortune of singing for the lethal musical combination of Salim – Sulaiman & Amitabh Bhattacharya a few times now, including my very first film song. It has consistently reached the next level in talent, technology, theatrical experience, and digital platforms like OTTs. Maybe much more will come in the future. He said; with human life, entertainment will never die. Entertainment is always going to be in demand. Since the pandemic, we have seen significant growth in OTT vertical, which will have no adverse effect on theatres demands. Instead,
OTT will be there, and both will probably complement in terms of audience choice. OTT is the retailing of the Entertainment industry, which has given so many new formats in the entertainment and new talent. Every talent has a reasonable chance to showcase their work and ability, and there is a vast audience waiting for some innovations in the Entertainment industry.
Speaking about his 51st film “CHEHRE” under Mr. Anand Pandit Motion Pictures, he said, “Mr. Amitabh Bachchan has not charged us a single rupee on this project. In fact, as I wish, I wanted to do the film with Mr. Bachchan. Still, we never got the right script. One day, Amitabh Ji called me and said, I have a story and script ready if you can produce the film. I was like, this is the best moment of my life, and the project started. Though, with the pandemic effect for us, we had a tough time. Still, with all the hard work of the entire team, the project was completed with success, and the film is releasing this Friday, 27th August.”
